Dear Christian girl, It is okay to know your worth. It is not pride. It is not arrogance. It is not rebellion. It is revelation the revelation of who you are in Christ. You are not desperate. You are not behind. You are not “too much.” You are a daughter of the King. You were bought with a price, called by name, and set apart for a purpose. Your value is not determined by who stays, who leaves, who chooses you, or who overlooks you. Your worth was settled on the cross. Knowing your worth means you don’t beg for love. It means you don’t shrink to be accepted. It means you don’t lower your standards to keep someone comfortable. It means you understand that being patient is not the same as settling.
