5 years Anniversary speech by the founder

Wow. Lioness Hub is already 5 years!

I still vividly remember when we started in 2020. It felt so unusual—almost strange—building a community of women and committing to it full-time, especially from a guy’s perspective.

But I thank God for this vision and the grace it came with. I’m glad I answered the call, and I’m even more grateful to still be on this journey.

A big thank you to everyone who believed in this vision and trusted me—not just as the founder, but also as a father figure in this space.

With God’s help, we’ve achieved so much over the years:

We’ve successfully hosted two major conferences—one in Awka and another in Enugu.

We’ve carried out impactful outreach for the girl child, held fitness programs, a ladies’ night out, the Lagos Hangout, and other physical events.

In the online space, we’ve hosted several events and programs like the Warrior Woman, tech programs, magazine publication and webinars covering everything from career growth, inspiration, health talks, fitness, kitchen tip, relationships, to marriage.

Today, we have a fully functional website and app, and a buzzing, supportive WhatsApp group.

People often say working with women is challenging—but that hasn’t been my experience. Being a part of this community has been a blessing. I’ve learned a lot, felt encouraged, and received so much support.

I deeply appreciate everything we’ve built together in this community, and I’ll always be committed to seeing it thrive.

A big shout out to our media and welfare team members for all the efforts they put into this community and also to you for being a Lady with purpose.
