HOPE BEHIND BARS 1.0

Some women sleep behind iron doors, for God knows how long because life took a wrong turn.

And while the world moved on, they remained there waiting, thinking, hoping someone still cares or for a miracle of freedom.

On the 28th of February, 2026, Lioness Hub will be going for our madien outreach at Afara Correctional Centre, Umuahia.

HOPE BEHIND BARS 1.0 is our commitment to remind them that God has not cancelled their future. That society has not erased their worth. That they are still women of value.

Behind those bars are women who still cry at night.

Women who still pray.

Women who still dream of a second chance.

Some are mothers.

Some have babies with them.

They may be confined, but they are not forgotten.

We are going with:

• Bibles and pamphlets

• Baby Pampers

• Cartons of Provisions

• Food

• Toiletries

But we can not do this alone.

We need partners.

We need sponsors.

We need hearts that care.

You may never enter the correctional centre physically,

but your generosity can represent you.

Your support can put a Bible in someone’s hands.

Your support can feed a mother.

Your support can comfort a child.

A little kindness can restore hope.
